Carmen Nieves Camacho Hernández is an artisan from the municipality of Garafía in the crafts of doll making and fabric decorator.
The doll trade goes through different phases that are pattern making, marking and cutting fabrics, sewing and assembling members, filling the body, making clothes, assembling the dress, assembling the hair, decorating and making up the face and also plugins are added.
Fabric decoration is a trade through which drawings are designed and made directly on fabrics, by brush painting or printing, with different dyeing techniques, all of which must be perfectly understood and developed.
